Plastic Fantastic

I've previously mentioned that, while I endeavour to be green, by taking canvas shopping bags to the supermarket, I occasionally allow them to give me a plastic one, because I use them as rubbish bins.

Of course, the problem with having a plastic bag lying on the floor in the kitchen is that it looks somewhat ugly!

Well, some clever designer has come up with Tubelor, which consists of two pieces that envelope the plastic bag ... and look nice!

Sadly, it's only a design concept so far, but I'll definitely be watching for it to arrive in the flesh!
